Day 14-Poland Czestochowa-Sulejów :
Complete Log entry for Christian

I awoke from the campsite and leaned on the side of my bike and the entire front rack fell onto the grass.

Surprised with the rudeness of this act, I grabbed the twisted iron that used to be the mount for the front bags and threw them as far as I could.

Without the bag racks we could not continue so we had checked every shop in town and found nothing. Nothing until one shop recommended another in a town that was 120 km north which was the only chain in Poland who would carry the equipment we needed.

Needless to say we hopped a train and headed into town to find the shop. Ironically, the train wasn’t going any faster then I could on my bike but it had way better bag racks.

We found the parts within an hour and I made the necessary repairs on the bike and then headed back on track. We arrived on our trail at about 8pm and decided to camp for the night in the woods.

With the bags fixed I got a peaceful night's sleep and I even spent some time in the hammock again.
