Christian's Journal Entry for Day 16 :We had a little rain this morning but it was refreshing because it has been too hot for the last week. It didn’t last long and was quickly warming up after breakfast. We decided to stay in a little hotel in the center of town where we were close to everything. I didn’t feel like walking too far and just wanted to relax a little and take in the culture.

I like the peaceful town of Radom with its local small town charm (even though it is considered to be a big town). I haven’t heard any police cars for days now and I think that the people are a lot calmer and friendlier.

Today I will try to find a computer to transfer the galleries to the site and then take a long nap out of the reach of the sun. Kind of...click here to read more


Emmanuelle's Journal Entry for Day 16 : Today, we slept in until 8 am. That was a nice change from the usual 5am. At 9.30 am, I got a call from Radio Fribourg asking if we still on for a mini update of our trip. It was set up for 11.30 am. We had a couple of hours to tour around town to find a grocery store to buy a few things I needed for camping and lots of laundry soap to get the chain grease out of my pants!

Then we had to go to an internet cafe, the only one in town! So Chris could download pictures and update the site! The saleswoman was pretty helpful and lent her computer so Chris could download programs and all because windows 98 on the other computers would just not do it! I looked at my watch, it was11.25, it was time for the radio interview....click here to read more
