Message: Hello I am writing to say that you both are such a great inspiration for me and my students (grade 4). We would all like to wish you well on your voyage and we will follow your trip every step of the way. It is nice to see people who want to help others at no personal gain themselves, I hope that it spreads to other people and they can use this trip as an example for further undertakings. .

Message: In my last trip across the Rockies of Canada in 1998 I covered over 1000 km and I want to wish you the best of luck because I know what it is that you are setting out to do. Whats more, I also understand that it is an amazing achievement for your cause too to have people like you who are willing to sacrifice their strength in their honour. By the way nice site!! Message: Nice to hear from a fellow cycle tourist and have fun on your ride to Kiev. Good to see you publicizing Chernobyl reactor of 20 years ago. I will be bicycling some of the same route (my trip is Uzhgorod, Ukraine to Penza, Russia) about a month before your trip..

Message: Until now I thought that raising awareness was a hopeless cause because it seems that no one is willing to listen anymore but I realise that after seeing the incredible trip and the wonderful cause you represent, that there is hope after all. I admire you both Christian and Emmanuelle for your courage and strength. God Bless you throughout the whole trip and also in whatever crosses your path..

Message: Dear Christian & Emmanuelle.Great to hear about your cycling trip plan to Kiev. I am sure it will be a great trip. I was in Leningrad ( now St. Petersburg) when it happened with Chernobyl disaster. I was just about to take Trans Siberia route. No job too small, my friend. What you are doing is not a small thing. We might not see the result we are doing today. But at least we already open a path for our children to step into a better world. So they can do better tomorrow. We owe this live today from our children. Bon Voyage, Christian & Emmanuelle..

Message: I like cyckling as a way of travelling even though I unfortunately do not have too much experience. Right now I am tangled up in paying the rent, goeing to work etc. etc. However, I haven' t given up the idea of getting on my bycicle and cyckle to Asia, ( I live in Paris,France) but I want to have some money in order to stay away for at least half a year. I like the idea of your trip, especially when it is for a good purpose, as is the case. Looking at the route you are planning to take I might have some advice, I once cyckled from Dresden, Germany, to Budapest Hungary, and on the way back I cyckled to Vienna, I defenitely can recommand to follow the 'schone blaue Donau', the Danube, especially between vienna and Budapest, Here you will not be bothered by cars or motorcycles etc, and the cycklepath stays very close, literally, to the danube, which means you cykle on flat cycklepaths,( if that is the correct expression;)so you will not have to push your bikes up to hills...just an idea.... Good luck with the project, and keep your site up to date so we can follow the story... Take care, Peter.

Message: A small word of encouragement for two courageous people: It is amazing what one can do if they only "harness that energy" and I think this is a perfect example. I wish you both courage and endurance for your trip, and I hope that your initiative will give momentum to other's projects- show people that we can do anything if we just get up and take the first step! Know that I will do what I can to help- and though my contributions may not make the hills less steep nor the journey less long- I am honored to support your trip! .

Message: 2 years ago I had planned to go with my friends on a cross country trip but I was severely wounded and could not go at that time but I am hoping to follow your adventures along the way to Kiev. It doesn't say how you will post the daily information on your site but I imagine you have worked out the details. You both will have a hard time but I'm sure that it will all pay off for foccus in the end .
